About The Artist

Fred received his formal education at California State University at Los Angeles, BA of Fine Arts – Sculpture, and the Gemological Institute of America at Santa Monica, GJA.

Fine Art has been a passion of Fred’s forever.  During the early 70’s he exhibited paintings on La Cienga, Los Angeles, and was a principal in Syntax Space, Santa Monica, exhibiting performance and conceptual art.  Assemblage sculpture became Fred’s next area of emphasis; in 1976 the final sculptures were built and exhibited at the Tucson Museum of Art, Tucson, Az.

Teaching has always been important to Fred, whether as a guest lecturer at Cal State, LA; Cal Arts, Valencia; or as an Associate Professor at Northland Pioneer College, Show Low, Az.  Fred has enjoyed the opportunity to share the many joys of Art.

Fred now exhibits his artistic creations at the internationally-acclaimed Laguna Beach’s Festival of Arts.
